I am a part of a community of people who do not want to be judged for acting and being outside of what has been considered stream line normal by society. Not only am I a part of this community I am also an encourager of the community coming together to celebrate these difference and to learn from one another. The party and the learning should never end… nor should the pursuit of happiness and pleasure in whatever form you personally see fit. (as long as you are an adult and it is consensual.) As a leader in the community, a Princess as you may, I vow to do my best to unlearn biases and relearn accepting people where they are.
On August 19th the community invaded a venue and celebrated our lifestyle with Adult WAVE. On the 20th we invaded a field and did it again. This past Adult WAVE was a challenge from conception to completion and although attendance wasn’t what the second one was, it was still an awesome time! This is what Kink means to me. It means community, acceptance, happiness and pleasure outside of societal standards.
